Configure the TCP / IP settings on the server, so that there is an IP address for each site that you want to host.
Configure DNS so that the host names and corresponding IP address can be resolved.
Configure each site so that it uses its own IP address.
In this method, individual users can access the site by typing in a browser, the unique domain name or the unique IP address. According to the example, you can access the intranet sales by entering http://MyIntranet/ or http://184.108.40.206.
Each site is assigned a unique IPAddress while maintaining the same port number. Users then have the following possibilities:
Accessing the main site by a browser, the DNS server name or IP address is entered, such as http://intranet or http://220.127.116.11
Access other Web sites by entering the domain name, and the assignable port number or IP address and port number assignable, such as http://Intranet:80 or http://18.104.22.168:80
Method 3 – Host Header
The key to use host headers is a DNS name assignments, which is configured in the DNS system and the site is assignable. The assignment is innehalb the Siekonfiguration.
Corp Intranet, HrIntranet and SaleIntranet. The drreis sites use the same IP address and port number, but have unterschidliche DNS name.
Configure DNS so that di host header and the corresponding IP addresses can be resolved.
Configure the primary site so that they are using the same IP address and port number, and you also assign a host header.
